Angels on Duty is a NDIS registered disability service provider, offering compassionate and considerate care to people living with disabilities across Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

We work closely with participants and loved ones respecting their choices and understanding their needs to tailor support and care services that suit your unique circumstances.

OUR SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS

Our services include but are not limited to:

Personal care. This involves undressing, showering, dressing, toileting, feeding, stoma care, peg feeding and administering medication.
Domestic duties. This involves cooking, tidying, cleaning, yard work and anything else the participant wants done around the home.
Community access. This can be anything from going to the shops, transporting to appointments, to community outings and events.
Community Nursing
- Incontinence assessments
- Wound care and skin integrity
- Medication assistance compliance
- Stoma and Catheter care
- Etc.
STA, MTA, Emergency and SDA Accommodation
- Great Property and wheelchair accessible
- Wild life experiences, swimming pool, and Social activities included
- Large screen Tv and split system air-conditioning
- Super healthy meals as chosen by participants. Can be modified for different dietary requirements, etc.
Social Participation and Upskilling Activities
- Community Access and Participation, Shopping Assistance, Upskilling services (learning to use public transport, essential cooking, managing finance (pocket money), etc
- Social and Life style outings, including trips to fun and friendly environments, this includes movie world, eco-park, fishing, pottery, horse riding/sessions, Sailability. All our outings we include pick up and drop off services and also morning and afternoon tea. (Lunches at participants expenses).
Assistance with Daily Life.
- Personal care (showering, dressing, drying, toileting, bowel therapy, etc.
- Domestic Assistance: Cooking, cleaning, vacuuming, moping, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, etc. (it can be tailored accordingly to participants needs)
- Medication administration, Webster pack, ointment application, diabetes assistance, optic medication, stoma care and peg feeding, etc.
Yard Work maintenance
- Helping with gardening, watering your plants, and general low level care of gardening.
Specialised Transport
- 12 seater van with wheelchair lift
- Comfortable seating,
- Our vans are fully air-conditioning, maintained regularly and meets safety standards.

Angels on duty also have a beautiful property available for STA/MTA and emergency accommodation. It is available 24 hours a day. Participants can bring their own support workers, or we can provide one for the length of your stay. Our support workers are well known for their supportive and compassionate care, and are highly qualified and regarded.

We provide compassionate care and support to those facing challenges in everyday living. Our qualified staff will discuss your needs and circumstances and work with you to develop a care plan that allows you to live your best life.

NDIS Plan Support Coordination

Let our NDIS registered support coordinators help you navigate through every step of your NDIS journey. We will provide all the advice and support you need to ensure you derive the full benefit from your approved funding.

We’ll start by explaining the range of support options available to you, and help you to put your funded supports into your NDIS plan. We’ll make sure you understand your plan and are able to use it with a mix of supports that will help you to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks and live more independently as an active member of your community.

We will also help you to connect with any additional services and support agencies and establish support connections within your community. And, we’ll work with you to build the skills necessary to get the most out of your plan and achieve your personal goals.

Additionally, we provide more complex support, including behavioural therapy, which aims to recognise and change destructive or unhealthy behaviours. It covers a wide range of techniques which can be used to treat different psychological problems as well as physical or mental impairment.

Social & community activities

We aim to empower people with disabilities to build the skills necessary to become a part of their communities. Social and community integration programs, including joining clubs and taking part in community access and social activities, plays an important role in achieving this goal.

We encourage those in our care to take part in activities that foster self-worth and a sense of belonging. We provide a variety of different activities each month that encourage differently abled people to focus on their abilities rather than their disabilities.

While our events strive to help develop overall health and fitness, there is something for everyone. The selection of activities ranges from friendly tennis tournaments at our Toowong tennis grounds, to picnics, swimming, hiking, walking, and farm outings as well as trips to amusement parks, and much more.

Care and support is always on hand, and our team will gladly help you to participate and make the most of the activity. Depending on your personal goals, we will work with you and develop your skills to be an active member of the community.

Community Nursing

You can rely on our registered nurses to deliver high quality community nursing services. We will take the time to listen to you and understand your needs and work with you to deliver exceptional patient care with compassion and respect.

Our nurses are all highly qualified professionals with experience in community nursing. We personally select only the most compassionate and caring nurses with the necessary skill sets to provide the levels of care required.

Our community nursing services cater for all levels of need from basic to complex including constant care and ongoing evaluation.

You can trust us to take care of you, ensure your wellbeing and improve your quality of life as much as possible.

WE OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF COMMUNITY NURSING SERVICES

Our registered nurses will work with you to create strategies that suit your needs as well as those of your family and loved ones. We are able to provide assistance with transitioning from hospital to homes.

We also provide advice and support for health practitioner treatments as well as post-surgery support, care and advice.

Pain management and palliative care, end of life support and advice can be provided where necessary.

Our nurses can also undertake medication management and administration, infection control and hand hygiene, basic urinary health and bowel care, basic pressure area and prevention and nasogastric or PEG feeding.
